Yeah, well, you hardly ever saw 4 door pickups much either unless you were with the railroad, forest service, military, or the like.

Now they are 85% of what you see on the road.

Ain't it a damn shame. You can't even hardly BUY anything with less than 4doors. It sucks. I hate 4 door vehicles.

Yeah it pisses me off that I can hardly find anything without 4 doors anymore.
I've always hated 4 door vehicles. We all don't have a construction crew to haul around.

Most with empty passenger seats 99% of the time too, and beds that have never had much of anything big or heavy put in them. Many people could get along just fine with a 2 door, or extra cab pickup instead of a 4 door, but they won't admit to it. Trucks scaled for realistic use all the way down to compact sized pickups have been out of style for some time now, unfortunately.

Most people drive around solo, hence the HOV lanes generally being pretty empty etc so its a bit odd they keep saying nobody wants a 2 door anymore when all the data points to them making far more sense today then they did back in the 50's-80's

IF all these solo drivers insist on 4 doors then its just for storage which is why I think the new charger has that huge hatch back

I recently saw a Ford pickup- probably around a 2015 that was a standard cab and short box. I'm sure it was 2wd. It looked weird only because I NEVER see that combo anymore. It looked stubby.

Keep old mopars alive.
