Last year at the MOPAR Nationals, a friend purchased a “MOPAR Certified” reproduction washer bottle for my 69 Dart GT Custom. It was labeled to fit all 67 to 72 Dodge/Plymouth A bodies. After changing over the original electric pump and strainer I tried to mount the bottle. The repo bottle is not wide enough to fit the original mounting holes which are 8.5 inches apart. This car is a one owner “survivor” and I need a bottle that fits. Does anyone reproduce the correct dimensioned reproduction? Any help would be appreciated.

That is weird that it does not fit. I bought a Chrysler licensed reproduction of a manual pump model from Mancini, and it fits like it's supposed to. Perhaps the electric pump versions are not made right?

The one I bought before that did not have anything on the part about it being a licensed part, and it had hole spacing issues so I was unable to use it.

Yes, there is a batch out there that have the wrong screw spacing, and the cap backwards too, that is usually the easy way to tell them apart...

Do you know of a vendor that has the correct reservoir? I’d rather have a reproduction than used if the correct one is available. Thanks for taking the time to reply!

https://vansauto.com/?s=washer+bottle

They have just the bottle or a complete washer/bottle/motor/squirter kit...

Thanks again for your help. I’ve contacted Vans asking for a measurement of the mounting ears.
