DARTGTS340 OP member D Joined: Feb 2009 Posts: 22 USA	Have this pair of carbs for the 426 Hemi with cross ram intake. Any idea what these holes were for on each throttle venturi above the throttle plates? Pointer showing holes and have never seen this on other Holley carbs.

John Brown top fuel Joined: May 2012 Posts: 1,959 South Bend	My opinion: Holes let fumes evaporate after engine shut off. Many older carbs have holes like that. July 19th should be "Drive Like Rockford Day". R.I.P. Jimmie.
