1969 Barracuda, doing a color change to B5 blue with “Bright Blue” (Year One’s color description) dash pad, door cards, upholstery, etc.

What color should the metal part of the dash be to make it look original?

Also wondering about the large metal parts for the interior that go in the fast back glass area, steering column color, etc

This info really ought to be in Archives by now, but :

Dash, column, ashtray, glovebox door - flat (no gloss) textured suede finish, called Baltic Blue, old PPG # 13705
Door frames, quarter metal moldings, headliner side mldgs - B7 for B5 interior, though called Bright or Thunder Blue, old PPG # 2019 and/or 13693
DuPont & R-M also have of course their own #s.
Plastic parts were molded in color, and don't quite match the other colors.

Those old #s are hard to get cross-referenced unless you find a paint jobber who's been around a long time.
More modern colors can be tinted to match, but it all takes an experienced person & "eye".

My son-in-law manages a collision center, so hopefully we can get those mixed up!

Thank you so much for the information! 😊👍
