dvw OP I Live Here Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 10,189 MI, usa	My friend has runover way to many Hemi parts. So the latest it broke some rod bolts. We won't go there. Now the new build. Last year brand new Stage 5 Hemi heads cnc by FHO.. Both cylinders that lost a rod have cracks in the head. I haven't personally looked but he claims no witness marks from the pistons contacting the chamber. Both are cracked from the plug outward. Timing and fuel have been sufficient to stop detonation. DoubleD top fuel Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 2,349 NE Ohio	You can see the porosity in the casting - there has been issues with some of the last run of castings - prior to FHO taking over from what I have heard - but those heads definitely look to have issues with the casting. either way those heads are junk now

He was involved in the Stage V stuff for a long time and if I understand correctly, often had to bail them out financially with orders. Tim would know.
