Anyone here ever change out a burst disc in this location on the regulator? New to air, gonna give it a try in the spring, hooked it all up and leaks from here even though it was brand new. Curious if there is a disc in here? Bottles have one that you can wrench in and out, but didn't want to just tear into this area, has a spring inside, or does it just need an adjustment?

I believe that was an issue with one I had decades back, dropped it off at my weld shop for repair, and the cost of the repair was nearly what a new one cost. rant

Burst disc I am told is from too rapid of opening the tank.

I currently have a welding gas mixer in the shop likely for the same problem.

Many times..Usually from age or heat building to much bottle pressure.

You can buy them on amazon or any gas supplier. I keep a couple in my trailer just in case. But also carry extra bottles and have a mother bottle at home.

How do you access it in this location? Vice grips on that cap with the 4 holes, or is there a special tool that goes in those holes?
