If I were building a modernized muscle car, I'd build it just like that...EFI, upgraded brakes, upgraded HVAC, but stock appearing, 15 inch wheels (though I'd use something other than factory wheels), etc.

At first glance, it looks like a really nice car.

Makes me wanna kick my own butt for selling my red '68 many years ago.

I don't see the need for all the "upgrades" myself, but they appear well done at a glance.
I like that the original styling was left alone - including avoiding the 20+ inch rolling stock.
Two-twenty is really ambitious, and I guess the reference for that # is the resto-mod market.

These guys specialize in running around the country and buying up cars for considerably less and then they apply the needed amount of perfume and the fancy pictures and showroom. Sad thing is that they actually sell cars. Look back in their archives. They had a '68 Fastback Barracuda that I know the history on. Was an extremely nice car that was sold sub $50K. The listed it for $179K and it sold. I called down there and asked them if they got the full listing price for it. They claimed they did. Their review of the car's build was a total joke as they really knew nothing at all about the car. They bought it from the guy that paid sub $50K for it from the actual builder.

$20,000.00 spent on EFI, A/C, brakes, suspension, and Horsepower upgrades only to waste it all by connecting to a no Overdrive, 3 speed, power-sucking Turd from the Stone Age.

Suppose at that price, the only driving it will ever see will be going from the car-hauler to the Garage,
