Mileage seems to good to be true, otherwise a clean looking car.

I would buy it just so they can bring the Superbee down off the lift and rip that Go-wing off the trunk lid.

But....the Roadrunner is really sweet. Is the black under the taillights correct? I have never seen that before, but have not seen a lot of 71's that haven't been all hacked up. I agree, mileage is suspect, but looking at the car, and the price
maybe accurate? Regardless. Its a nice ride for sure.

Id have no issues with the mileage claim myself. If the seller can fully backup the ownership history with no skips in the middle. Ive seen many levels of perfume on low mile cars. One level is to take a rough low mile car and make it appear still as found but not as bad as found. This looks decent.

There is a 6k mile car in this color combo I know of that does have some parts that look like 106k but many look factory fresh and the more one looks they can easily tell its a 6k mile car. Its just the first few years it was just a car and driven as such.

But this car at 40k...hmmmm. What could one do with it other then leave it as it is?

Very nice looking car, but small block auto in a b-body performance car is a no go for me.

it had redone seats (wrong as originally with orange inserts).
So mileage was probably 100+

Had Firestone white ovals RWL installed.
Drives me crazy to see that
