Years ago I was looking at a 70s 1 ton with an extended frame and a car ramp bed. That truck had a slant 6 & a 4 speed. I questioned the guy about how dead it must have been with a car on it. The guy looked me in the eye and told me that slant 6 had as much power as a 440 had. I couldn't get away from him fast enough. I figured that he could look me in the eye and say that, nothing else he was going to tell me was going to be true either.

Easily fixed with a Cummins, I sold a rusty 93 250 Cummins truck for $2500 recently, would have been a bolt-in... boogie
