I mentioned earlier that I plan on selling a handful of my cars, one is a 1971 Satellite Sebring Plus. This car has the original 383 and 727. Engine rebuild with measured 9.0:1 compression, transmission rebuilt with trans-go shift kit. Original A/C car with rebuilt heater box and Vintage Air components under the hood. Painted Curious Yellow (originally Winchester Grey) with white vinyl halo top and interior. New seat covers, headliner, carpet with door cards that were dyed white. One small patch in the rear floor board and one patch on the upper windshield channel. No sheet metal damage beyond door dings. I have the stainless rocker trim pieces but have not put them one (haven't spent the time to clean/polish them). There are two spots on the hood where the paint cracked so that would need to be fixed to make the paint perfect (I may fix this before selling). Car is not perfect but a very nice driver. Body is probably a 9, paint is probably a 7, the interior being a 7.
So, the question is what is this worth? Looking to get a fair price but I don't want to screw anyone anyone.

I agree with Topside, a mid 20s car. But in today's crazy market it could push past 30.

Nice car. $22-$25k. What does the interior need? Where's the radio antenna?

Nice car. $22-$25k. What does the interior need? Where's the radio antenna? It has a dash cap and that is cracked The steering wheel center has worn woodgrain, the wheel is cracked The rearview mirror is foggy Door panels are original, but dyed. I think that's about it for the interior.

not to nit pick, missing rallye dash wiper knob, wiper motor, battery holddown, small details adds alot of value,i am thinking higher 20s with the color change Thanks for your thoughts on value. I do have the parts (wiper motor, battery holddown, etc) but haven't put them on yet. It's only been a 6 or 7 years since I put it back together

This model isn’t in my wheelhouse, but I’ll say any car I see the last few years that has decent paint has at least a 30k tag hanging on it. I’m talking all brands and models. All. Don’t know if people always get that, but that’s what is asked. Working ac is pretty big feature.
I want my fair share

to be upfront: I am not a Satellite buyer I would always go for an RR/GTX. So I hope I am not biased.
The fact it being a Satellite (even though a Sebring plus) holds it back a little bit IMHO.
I feel a sales price of 22-25k $$ in the end but you could start asking upper 20s and see what happens.
Carsten I appreciate your thoughts. The fact that it's not a RR or GTX does take a lot out of the value.

I don't know enough to hazzard a guess at value but going down the highway you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference between a Sebring Plus/RR/GTX. If it's still around when I win the lottery, it will be the start to my Jay Leno type warehouse of cars - each to be driven frequently.

The fact it being a Satellite (even though a Sebring plus) holds it back a little bit IMHO. Completely agree. That being said, I really don’t like gunmetal/Winchester Gray so the new paint choice is a good one for this body style.
