Obviously with a big offset in the rims. The smaller 29 Dia radial will bring up my race rpm a little, so the mild gears I run should make them about right for racing with the smaller radials. The 16x31's are actually small for my car already...

Never had a set, but they say leaf spring cars run well with them, so maybe we learn somthing in switching.

I should clarify - you don't need to run radials, it just can't be a regular DOT tire. It can be a drag radial or a conventional bias ply DOT or track only slick, just no street tires so the tread doesn't screw up the track prep. QT Pros, ET Streets, ET Drags, etc are all okay, either bias or radial. There is a width restriction on many of the classes though.

I was crabing more about the size limitations...Us old car guys aren't use to the fact no one tubs a car anymore. Those old classes never had tire limits. I ran in a Gasser series for many years...And there is no way my Gasser even remotely fits their rules. So we go with the Cuda as its street legal, but still fully tubbed. I had to do some measuring, and the 315's will work with a major offset in the rims. Heck, with leafs, they might even work better...

I am sure they will add some flair in there to add some distance.

MIR is between all the other tracks so adding flair should be easy.
DC, Baltimore traffic is fun.

Plenty of off-highway roads to add distance and time. If they run people on the Capitol or Baltimore Beltways during rush hour, that will be a true test of everyone's cooling systems whistling

Anyone know if they typically allow for overnight stays at the tracks? I would just as soon pitch a tent and camp out, rather than deal with hotel rooms most nights.

I don't know if I'll sign up or not. I'm planning on racing at two land speed events in 2025 one of them being speed Week in August at the Bonneville salt flats. Not sure if I'll have time to squeeze in drag week. Maybe I'll wait till registration is closed and then get on the wait list.
My buddy Jay Brown who got me started in drag week is talking about maybe going with his sohc powered Shelby. If he registers then maybe I will.

You are right, but just spending the week racing is what it's all about. By the way I met you in Columbus a few years ago. That Scatty did run 12.22 in 85 degree heat with a big head wind.
