Obviously with a big offset in the rims. The smaller 29 Dia radial will bring up my race rpm a little, so the mild gears I run should make them about right for racing with the smaller radials. The 16x31's are actually small for my car already...

Never had a set, but they say leaf spring cars run well with them, so maybe we learn somthing in switching.

I should clarify - you don't need to run radials, it just can't be a regular DOT tire. It can be a drag radial or a conventional bias ply DOT or track only slick, just no street tires so the tread doesn't screw up the track prep. QT Pros, ET Streets, ET Drags, etc are all okay, either bias or radial. There is a width restriction on many of the classes though.

I was crabing more about the size limitations...Us old car guys aren't use to the fact no one tubs a car anymore. Those old classes never had tire limits. I ran in a Gasser series for many years...And there is no way my Gasser even remotely fits their rules. So we go with the Cuda as its street legal, but still fully tubbed. I had to do some measuring, and the 315's will work with a major offset in the rims. Heck, with leafs, they might even work better...
