Modern Cylinder Head in Detroit has one. After hearing stories about the current shop management there, I wouldn't be sending my heads to them.

Looks like Hughes Engines has stopped doing in-house CNC porting with their scaling back on services

I made a few inquiries and KG seems to have in house issues too. Care to elaborate? Short staffed, quality issues, etc. What type of issues?

I wouldn't think of buying an Edelbrock or 440 Source head stock size intake port and then have it CNC when you can now buy the Trick Flow 270. My last bracket stroker 400 block had a set of the Edelbrock victor type heads with the max wedge port sizes, Mark Sullens built E85 Dominator, that motor was 4.375 bore with a 4.320 stroke crank and between 14.93 to 15.04 to 1 compression racing on pump E85. It ran well and would repeat between .001 to .003 from early mornings to late afternoons
Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

I did some minor clean up around the guides afterwards but nothing to get worked up about. If you already have the heads it's not a bad idea. If you're still shopping for heads look towards the TF stuff.

I watched a video of Mopar Joe dyno a 499/400 base engine with the RPM heads with a mild gasket match, old torker intake a HR and it made 680 + torque 650+ HP. The RPM heads can't be that bad. For that matter neither can the old Torker.

And an old school supposedly "junk" intake. Wonder how much better a Holley SD would be? If I was the OP I would send the heads to Dwayne let him work a little magic.

Anyone out there have a CNC porting program for the Edelbrock Performer BB head? Call BES , or Scott Brown I don’t have experience with Scott Brown’s product but thats who I would use. I have spoken to him before and he has what appears to be a pretty good program for a stock port window based on the numbers. For what it’s worth I spoke with him because Monte Smith said thats who he would use for a CNC port on an RPM head, but I wound up buying different heads.

I don't know who Scott Brown is farming out his head porting to now, but at one point he used Modern Cylinder Head.

Modern Cylinder Head in Detroit has one. After hearing stories about the current shop management there, I wouldn't be sending my heads to them. Bob ripped me off for $4k. I had good luck with Jeff and he did a set of iron 559-M Hemi heads and a set of W2 heads for me. Bob is ruining the good reputation his brother established with MCH. I wouldn't send Bob any money in advance. Tell him to ship it COD and pay it when you get them and inspect them. Or pick them up in person and take all your inspection equipment with you. Bob is a bum.
