I spend a lot of time over in the other sections but I recently bought a 2104 ram Big Horn with Quad headlights. They "DYSON" quite well as they are known for. The lenses themselves are in really good shape so I've been looking at upgrading to LED's but have run into A LOT of conflicting info regarding flickering lights throwing codes, CANbus issues, changing the AlphaODB (which I know ZERO about) setting to HID's and last but not least inline modules to cure the issue

Some say no problems and others say the opposite. Some say the upgraded models ( bighorn included) are plug and play confused
The truck currently has the Philips high output halogens which are about 3 candle power LOL, OK maybe 30. Auxito and Fahren seem to be the most recommended but ?
I'm not opposed to changing the lenses but again ??? What brand
BTW I'm not a Rockefeller so Any help is greatly appreciated
TIA beer

How's the plating on the reflectors?
If the plating has dulled, that doesn't help.
Went through that on my Breeze - made a difference when I replaced the housings, even though the lenses were good.

The plating appears fine. I did clean the inside with a a water / alcohol mix which got the light film off the inside of the lenses. beer

After sending two lesser $$ Amazon sets back I consulted the place I purchased my bright back up bulbs….. dieselLEDS. I have the quad headlights in my 17 Ram and these bulbs have been GREAT!! https://dieselleds.com/

….i now have their backup bulbs, headlights, cargo lamps. Fog lights, license plate lights and even the puddle lamps on the mirrors.

No bus induced bulb messages.

Thanks,
Went with Sealights based on AMZ feedback and recommendations from the RAM forum. There were two others Faren and Auxito. However their recent reviews have not been good with one of them appearing as though they are on the way out (of business) or having serious issues. So far so good but i haven't really driven the truck yet as it's a recent purchase and I am still going through the inspection/needed maintenance. up
