Just saw the new VW van ad, can anything be more annoying? Then I see the Jaguar ad, then one with roller skaters running around and the "music" is twice as loud as the other, I don't even know what foreign car company that is, I turn it off the second I hear it!

Oh definitely! And most commercials have gotten more annoying than ever. Less about product, more about a stupid DEI agenda

Damn few commercials for anything that aren't at least irritating - especially when they're played back to back, like an extra helping of crap.
Many are even offensive - I'm just not big on homos making out, drag queens, extremely obese people, or soundtracks of songs I hate.

Here's an idea... turn off the TV and go work on a project in the garage.

I don't watch that much TV, but I can tell you I've pretty much had enough of the Medicare open enrollment commercials that are everywhere right now.

Most of my TV watching is recorded on TIVO, it has a SKIP COMMERCIALS feature...when that doesn't work I use the FFW button. when commercial come.

Well these all came on while watching the History Channel during the Pearl Harbor shows. Figures it is mostly Japanese cars, they did win the war afterall...

I am absolutely sick of seeing commercials for annual medicare enrollment. Humana, EHealth, Lume, Consumer Cellular. Commercials must be pretty inexpensive to air considering how often the ones I mentioned are run.

I'm tired of medicine ads that have more warnings of worse reactions then the thing they are meant to cure.

Count me in too then because I don't want to see two homos kissing either. In fact, I don't particularly want to see a man and women kissing lol.

I can think of two commercials I kind of enjoy. One is for a retirement community, and I can't remember name right now. Man and women around 55 ish, looking for new residence. First one a lot of noise out back and they look and see a college party in the next door neighbors back yard. Another is clearly an RV with it's squished in bathroom. Then they come to the nice one being advertised. I wish I could remember name. It's funny, creative, and doesn't insult intelligence.

The other is a St. Judes commercial. While very sad, this cute little patient around three years old is asked "are you ready to go have some fun"? and his response of "YES"! and the two arms up in the air are really cute.

That's it. Everything else fastforward!

I guess the ones that get me are all the mixed couples with biracial kids. What's wrong with just showing a black or Hispanic family?

I was in a mixed marriage. You don't see near as many in real life as tv represents.

as one who has MS and other health issues, i rely on my doctors to at least TRY to help me the best they can.
as the old saying goes : "that's why it's called PRACTICING medicine, and they are PRACTICING on ME !"......................

YES! Every dang year we're bombarded with those. SO annoying!

Heyyyyy. I watch Barnaby Jones, Kojak, The Rockford Files, Cannon and more. I like seeing the cars, the city streets and all that stuff from a better time (or at least it seems like it was better). Today's shows are mostly terrible IMO.

Oh and I watch the old B&W Gunsmokes and they are loaded with the old people commercials. I'm not old enough for medicare or SS but I have a feeling I'd still hate these commercials even if I was.

I agree! It's nuts! It's so forced looking.

Nothing wrong with old TV shows...Shows you young whippers how it was in a much more happy and simpler time..
