Maybe because summer was so hot and it was still warm till last week,but man we've been freezzznnn,usually we have the windows open at night but not this year,maybe we're just getting older. Anyone else?

Well, all day I was, it gets chilly once the sun goes down but nothing like up north. I see where I use to live up there got smashed with 4' of snow the other day - those were always fun

It's cold here too but not terrible. I told myself I wouldn't complain about winter after watching Florida and the Carolinas get hammered this fall. It'll warm up in a couple days around here and if it snows I clean it up in 30 minutes and life goes on. Some of those folks will be picking up the pieces for years!

Yep, I'm cold. Its been snowing off and on for a week, nothing heavy and little accumulation, but it has only been above freezing (34°) a couple days and only for about an hour or so. We have two very high energy working dogs that have to be exercised about 4 hours a day and when it's cold like this they get extra pumped. Makes me question other life choices as well.

to me colt temps should be compared to historical averages.
being from Wisconsin. as long as it stays close to freezing, 32*, it isn't that bad. once it gets below 5*-10* then it starts getting bad. i hate below 0* temps.

Wow guys I hear ya!This morning it's 24 all the snow is north of us our daughter and her boyfriend live in New Hampshire where its cold and very snowy!

It is not going to get above 32* all week in my part of Idaho. But at least no snow.....yet.

Where is the global warming when we need it.

As I get older I definitely seem to be more sensitive to cold weather--especially my hands and bony knees.

I still prefer the cold to 105 deg and 95% humidity, though.

47* here in Northern California, not bad at all.

my wife is freezing at anything below 80 degrees !
i took the garbage out this morning about 7:30, and it was a balmy 25 degrees.......
i just had jeans on and no shirt. my one buddy saw me and stopped. he had on his snowmobile suit, plus about 17 sweatshirts under it, as well as his heated mittens and shoes. had his heated seat and steering wheel on high as well.
we shot the bull for 10-15 minutes, and i was very comfortable without a shirt on.
he called me a "real cold blooded sumbi$ch".................

Humans do become more sensitive to cooler temps as we age.
Partly biomechanics, bloodflow, and for some just plain damn tired
Also the amount of...let's call it bodily insulation...
Takes a bit for me to adapt to cold temps, been that way since my 30s.
