Anyone know of any of these cam and lifter kits hiding out there somewhere? 😁

Try Dick Ross at Firm Feel. Dick has a pretty big stock of engine parts that he has collected over the years. I sold him a ton of stuff when I was downsizing including a bunch of cams. You have to talk directly to Dick though. He typically doesn't answer the phone so you have to ask to talk to him.

can't help with cam and kit location, but what are your engine plans ?
i have a 440/.030 over, 11.1 to 1 compression, edelbrock RPM heads with a small port job, eagle crank and rods, etc. RPM intake, with the 590 cam.
i haven't run it yet, but if i can, over the winter i plan on putting it into my 33 dodge "humpback" panel truck project, along with a beefed up A518 and a converter around 3800/4000rpm stall.
i think this thing might realistically weight around 2800lbs or slightly less. should be a fun ride.

I might have a spare used MP .590 w/ lifters from years ago...I'll have to look the next time I make it out to my parents house.

People will knock them and say there are better profiles, but they do work in a pinch. 12-13 years ago we threw together a spare parts 440 with another well-used MP .590 cam and obtained 551hp/553tq at the crank in a stock stroke 440 with ported 906 heads and TRW 11.5s. (All old-school technology and a shortblock that was built in 1992, as I could not afford a new motor at the time.) That same motor is still in the 70 Barracuda today. It's run 11.20s/120mph in street trim @ over 3800lbs with driver. I do have a 496" RB with Trickflow 270 heads waiting to be installed, but having too much fun with the old stuff to warrant taking the car apart.

I saw they had some but they aren't the original ones. I'm just trying to find a couple new old stock if that's possible.

Very smart move there, the older cam cores and lifters are light years better in quality than what you'll run into now.
