Anyone know if there are owner manual instructions on manual choke operation for the 71 Hemi cars? Instructions anywhere on how to set the cable etc.... Thanks.

Are you asking how to set up the cable from scratch, or how to use it when starting the car?

Both. Is there any documentation in the owner's manual or other source. I did not find anything in the service manual or tech pages for Chrysler training. Kind of interesting there is no Chrysler info on this change in 71.

The owners manual does have how to use it, which is like any other car with manual choke. Give it a shop of gas pull the choke and after it starts, start easing in the choke. When I converted my RR to a Hemi, I went to all the trouble to install that choke and even made a bracket to adapt it to the EB carbs, but now it is unhooked and just for looks. Just give it a couple of shots AND take your foot off the pedal.
