Odd deal - hasn't owned it a year, top mechanism apparently has an issue, quarter glass out (maybe related to top mechanism repairs ?) . Missing the wheel opening moldings & side stripes, not a big deal there I would think. I'm thinking the AG screens should be red, but a few guys have claimed theirs came black, so maybe that's legit. Sure seems below market, though, even with its issues. many times a quick turn can be an indicator of problems that surfaced after the buy Does look like an older resto, good for the $$ IMO

I inspected a 1969 GTX convertible several years ago and it ended up having three different VIN numbers on it between the trunk lip, radiator support and dash tag so you never know until you put your eyes on it Back in early 90s I looked at a Blue with blue interior 69 GTX vert that didnt even have a vin tag on the dash. Car was in western NY area . factory air car To this day I wonder what ever happened to that car

It seems like closer to a car I typically see have a 60k ask. Numbers cars being more like 70-80. I remember one numbers car in MO that had an 80k tag on it and took a long time to sell, for what I don’t know. I looked at the ad several times and it had a rough ass undercarriage that didn’t compare to the topside that was a good driver.

Sounds like we're all agreed: a smokin' deal for something we might end up wishing we hadn't bought Dang, it's compelling though: R6 & white interior just pops... But the more one looks, the more that appears. I see a 20+ year or older resto that is showing its age. Going to take some $$ to bring it back up. That could turn into a costly can of worms real quick.

Having had multiple 69 GTX verts
I can say at mid $40s that car was a good buy in todays market. Provided its not a rot box / rust bucket / patchwork quilt
Just how good would depend on an in person inspection, Not everyone wants / needs a high end show car
Great color combo, Looks like an older resto that might need some cleaning up / detailing / refreshening. Just how much ---- All depends on the desires of the buyer
The correct 1969 GTX only wheel lip mldgs can be tough to find originals. Or just take some roadrunner versions and cut them down to fit Wrong radiator for a 69 and its a 22inch. So its a 3.23 gear car
Diecast trim on the back end looks great which is HUGE bonus on these cars
IMO a GREAT driver I would be damn glad to park in my garage

Three pedals vert…or the bulllit clone. Yummy. The X is actually my old car. all matching numbers from the radiator to the 3.54 Dana B7 blue with blue interior. Current owner is a friend of mine whom restored it to full on trailer queen status Probably one of , if not the best restored 1969 GTX vert on the planet . Some of the options I added when I owned it, ( AM/FM Radio, Woodgrain str wheel, Air grabber, pwr steering , He updated it to power disc brakes) He is interested in selling, but the car will NOT be cheap

How is the metal on the car? I know of a B5 with Black interior 4 Speed that was in Jacksonville FL area. It was a 4.10 Dana car.

Your right a pretty original looking car with a rough looking undercarriage.

That car was at fast lane. When I lived out there I stopped in. Some nice cars. Some pretty to very high prices for what they were. Typical dealer.

Now that I think about it I remember looking at a B7 blue 4 speed GTX in the Louisville KY area a while back. The car was actually painted B5 at the time and it had some quarter issues. Not sure what ever happened to that one.
