How the heck do you get up in there to hook up the speaker wires from the factory AM radio? I took my glove box liner out and removed the ash tray and still can't get my arm up in there! On the brighter side I did find what was left of my build sheet above the glove box! More on that later...Thanks!! Ted

For that kind of stuff I'm usually laying on the car's floor, with a bright light, looking up.3
Easier if the heater box is out. Radio is kind of in the way, too.
Otherwise, it's fumbling around from the glovebox opening (glovebox removed).
It's awkward, at best.

I usually plug that stuff in BEFORE I install the radio. Never tried it after.

You might be able to remove the rear brace and loosen the nuts on the shafts to drop the rear of the radio enough to get it in.

The radio is just sitting up there. Not fastened down yet. I do have the power connection hooked up. The speaker wires are being the pita. hammer
