I put a fiberglass front end. I will be bracket racing. My front end is closed. I will be running e85. Would it be a good idea to leave it closed or do some wholes to get air to the radiator?
Engine is 540 with 14 compression making 900hp. Racing in very hot weather.

Have you tried it in very hot weather? If so what fuel?
My concern is keep in it cool for bracket racing. Racing 1/4 mile and 1/8.

My old bracket car front end was sealed up, that was on E85 also and it was hard to get that rascal warmed up, I would have to turn off the electric water pump while driving car around the pits to warm up the tranny and rear ends as well as the motor shruggy

I live in Las Vegas, so yeah many times. With cars making well over 1000hp. Here we dont have humidity to help with cooling the radiator anyway, its just dry hot air, like coming out of a blow dryer. I have ZERO issues with mine cooling or heating up. Just need an adequate radiator and fans..

This one while it looks open is not. I wanted the stock grilles in it. So we enclosed it from behind with lexan, just under 1100hp

Ours can get hot pretty quick in the heat, and has trouble cooling back down. But could probably be made better with a bigger radiator. On gas though.

It's easier to open up later if you don't like it, than it is to close up
