There are several 70-71 Plum Crazy trucks known that were not Dudes. I do not believe it was even a factory available color on trucks, but a special order. The tag that appears on the firewall of some trucks is not a paint code, but a number that corresponds to a number on the build sheet and there should also be a tag on the front of the bed.

pictures would be a big help. Spring special color I just drug in a 1971 Dodge D100 Adventurer that appears to be an original fc7 from the factory. Did they actually paint these trucks fc7 in 1971? I have never seen one before. TIA
