Do we know if he is still building them? Or has he given up on the project.

Sorry my bad I didn't know. So do the people that built them still make them or did they give up? No worries... just some info passed along. AFAIK they are still making them.... I haven't been in contact with Seth Garrett since I sold mine which has been a couple years ago. John Huff seems to be getting them, so they have to be making them.

The last time I talked to John Huff he said the owners of the company were aging and the transmissions were coming slowly. He is trying to buy the company, from what I understand.

Do we know if he is still building them? Or has he given up on the project. ..........well Passon never built any of them . They were made by GFS . Seem like the whole project has stalled at this time . The web site talks about a GM version of the A855 but probably never happened ???

I did read the Passon 5-speed story in the latest Mopar Collector's Guide... I don't have any further comments but will say the following: Over the last 10 years I have bought (3) A-833s from Passon, and Jamie was very professional and delivered a high quality product. And in the future if I need any A-833 or related drive-train parts I will not hesitate to buy from Passon. Also note I have bought some things from Wayne/Dan @ Brewers, as both Passon and Brewers are in my personal opinion class-operations supporting our legacy Mopars..
Just my $0.02...

Just stumbled on this...... No skin in the game, don't need a trans, but has this "New Product" really been going on for 15yrs? Red flags abounded, I gave up waiting for one a long time ago after calling.

Good news for this never ending story. ....... soooooo where is the good news ?? The trans is out of production at this time . The last round of pricing that I saw had them selling for about $7500 plus shipping due to the increased price of internal parts ect. I hope people that got one can get them any needed service and good to know some parts are available. So at this time the trans is out of production. Hope thats not the end of the story. " Howdy guys, this is Seth Garrett of Garrett Fuss Inc. I just wanted to pop in here quickly to drop off some info, GFI has not gone out of business and the A855 project is not dead. Due to the rapidly increasing cost of manufacturing (steel pricing being the main culprit) we have paused production of the A855. The website going down at the same time was actually due to our website host raising their pricing 10X. Due to this the website was taken offline, I am currently rebuilding it on a new host as an informational page to offer support to our A855 customers. I would also like to note we are still handling service calls and most parts are still in stock for repairs. Also my email seth@5speedmuscle.com was through the old website host and I have no access to it for the time being, if anyone on here sent an email there and got no response recently, I apologize."
I see some "good news" in this comment. Now if it turns out to inaccurate or false, my observation will change
"absence of evidence does not equate to evidence of absence of effect."
