I'm looking at a modified 69 GTX and need a quick tag decoded. Normally I would look it up myself but I'm currently heading out the door on a pre planned trip.

According to the seller the tag reads W21 END C16 C55 M21 M33 R11 VO2 F3 V2 P66 F8 927 153453 E86 D32 RS23 L9G 132682...

Looks like there is green in there somewhere (story of my life)?

Thanks

Most likely V21 - hood performance treatment as W21 was not coded.
V02 = two tone paint
V2 is not a valid paint code for this car. It must be something else like Y2. One of the exterior colors must be F8. F8 over Y2 would be a recommended combination.
P66 = P6G = interior trim code and color. Green interior to match exterior.

This is a new car to me. I'd appreciate a picture of the tag if you don't mind. (see signature)

Thanks for the responses. The car is actually on Ebay and it doesn't look to be in too bad of shape.

Update: I just looked at the guy's feedback the last time he had the car listed for sale. Buyer says the car was misrepresented.

Ebay listing

I doubt I can talk the wife into another green car. If the exterior is yellow I might have a shot.

The car isn't too far from me if anyone is interested in having me look at it.

Hi Jackie,

The Grand Coupe is gone. The guy that had offered them $1k came and got it the day after I asked about it. Turned out he was a paving contractor that gave them a screeming deal on their driveway and the Cuda was part of the deal.

This GTX might have potential if there isn't any caked on bondo, don't you think? The guy had it on Ebay about a month ago, before he put those "wheels" on it and painted the engine bay black.

I'd go look at it in person before bidding on it. Looks like he's a cobbler.....lol. Sorry you missed the Cuda. Looked pretty decent in the pics.
