I have been meaning to make a setup to repair those. I have the correct tap. Believe that the last time I looked at one I planned to thread a brass bushing in.
One of the members here had his six pack center carb bowl repaired. They pressed the bushing in. Did not last at all. Bushing fell out.

BLP or Braswell sells thread repair kits for the squirters and the bowls, or used to ten years ago when my Holley HP stripped out. Google search yielded this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/384279475063While it is overly expensive you get an idea of what you need to do. The threads are 3/8-32 aka ultrafine.

That is how I plan to repair them but I plan to thread mill the repair thread not use a tap. Only use a tap for the seat threads.

Many years ago, before the current repair parts were available, I was repairing the bowl threads by boring out the damaged threads and installing a fabricated thread insert. The insert was held in place by fuel-proof epoxy.

BLP has a Bare bowl for $28 Exactly Unless its a rare one off carb why even mess with it when you can get a better bowl with a sight glass and fresh threads. Gus

I decided to go a different route on these fuel bowl, I'm looking into purchasing a set of the dual needle and seat bowls. My question is anyone here powder coated the outer shell of the fuel bowls I'm using E-85 fuel and wondering how the E-85 affects the coating ?
