It was 1976 and 18-year-old Pete Cellini had just graduated from high school. He shared, “Since getting my driver’s license at 16, I had been driving any $300 cars I could fix and get on the road. Coming from a Ford family, I mostly drove old Mustangs, Mavericks, F-100s and Torinos. I’d drive the wheels off it and get another.”

How do you tell 50 years of the cars story and not once reference what engine is in the car?
Did I miss something?
340?
383?
440 6 Pack?

Never heard of him. Many mopar guys did that back then. I went through so many hot rods that I got dirt cheap, from max wedge cars to hemis. Never spent more than a few hundred for them. Lots of regrets though from scrapping 2 '63 max wedge Plymouth's.
