I am working on redoing my door panels. I am thinking of changing the wood trim portion.
The main portions will be white. The aluminum trim could be painted tan like the dash. What do you think of painting the accents black like stock, or another color or not at all. black with tan accents, or all black or tan with no accents.
Or back stock with wood grain and black.
Other suggestions are welcome as well.

I agree with the above statements. I suspect the fake wood grain on the door panels probably matched the fake wood Dodge put on the instrument panel cover.
I would probably go with the black with silver accents that would match your instrument panel cover. Correct. Someone before me painted the instrument cover silver. I am removing the rest of the wood grain from the interior as I feel it is dated. I am working on getting the silver color cleaned and buffed. then I will work on painting the wood grain. I see lots of masking in my future.

I too would go with black inserts, with or without the chrome accent, depending on how simple you want it to be. An orange highlight (tying in the exterior color) of some sort along the dash & door panel inserts might be interesting, or too much, or just a pain in the butt. I like the orange idea. I was leaning towards tan in the middle with black outside and chrome accents.

Know anyone that does pin stripping? A bit of orange pin stripping (with or without a bit of tan added), would really set that black off and would tie it to the outside color. I didn't think about a little pin stripping... Thanks for the idea.

I decided to go with a more "classic" look. Still thinking about the orange pin stripe to help tie it to the interior. A lot less taping this way. I tied it in to the exterior trim.

Finally got the armrest done. What a process. I couldn't find any decent used ones so I had to repair the ones I had.

Looks really good!!
Matches the rest of the interior very well. Thank you! That was what I was striving for. Minor update and removing the dated wood panel look.
