If anything this explains what Dodge is doing with the new Charger by offering a hi-po inline 6 turbo as well as electric, they were clearly looking at these cars

an ev is ok for around town driving- gm is giving them away.... u can lease a caddy lyriq with a 65k msrp for 3k down, 400 a month for 24months - my buddy just leased one... i drove it last week and on a non-busy straight away i hit on it- pinned ya in the seat, but no noise is a bit disconcerting for sure... i got '3' leases coming due next year, and i am thinking of leasing one for our around town driving...
on the downside, my other buddy has one... his wife came home from work and said the check high voltage light was lit... took it to service the next day, and they gave her a loaner ... brand new, 75k msrp- got home , going out for dinner, the rear seat passenger could not latch the back door... it closed but did not latch... back to service the next day , and they fixed it - service mgr told my buddy they have a hummer ev, msrp 125, with 80... yes 80 miles on it, and they have to replace all the batteries... the hummer is 10k pounds, half of it must be batteries...
i'll lease an ev... def won't buy

I follow a lot of auto journalists and that is something a lot say. EVs are great, but nobody has any idea on where the bottom is for the used market yet. A lease makes sense when you don't know what resale might be a few years later.

Though I really like how these guys add special effects to their videos, those two gassers are way more expensive. Run the BMW (the fastest of the two) against a model S Plaid (about the same price), and it will get slaughtered.
