My grandfather had one - it’s called a Geochron. This is exactly like the one he had, it was pretty thick because of the light inside and the loop mechanism. Geochron Geochron. That's the name I've trying to recall. Now to find an affordable one...

Yeah something like that. Don't want to drop $500 on one though. After a quick search for "geochrons" if you really want one that $500 one is the second lowest price found. $445 was the other and most range from $445 to $5k - $10k+ and average around $4k-$5k Wow, I wonder if kids that their parents had them back in the day is the reason why some think the world is FLAT? Based on that picture, I'm thinking a smart TV could have a "geochron" app downloaded and the TV's display be used as the face of the geochron.
