Hi, on my 93 Cummins, it wasn't shutting off when I turned off the key. So I removed the fuel shut off solenoid and found that the rubber tip was missing. I put in a new fuel shut-off solenoid and now it starts and shuts off as it should.

My question is do I need to be concerned about where the disintegrated rubber tip from the FSS ended up? Could it be plugging up something inside the pump or injectors? Do I need to disassemble stuff and clean it out?

Thanks, Joel

Upon further inspection, the rubber tip was found intact and removed. Therefore, this request for information is hereby cancelled.
