Not sure when but I wish they wouldn't have
Doesn't seem to make much difference with my stuff. The old power steering adjusting bolts were always a pain with the V belt system.
With the serpentine system, how the belts run around the pulleys is the biggest pain, and just for good measures, about every 5 or so years, I'll install a new belt tensioner, The tension spring in them tends to get weak, or sticks and causes the belt does slip and then strange things to happen..
The magnum motors were installed with the beginning of the 93 model year. Across the board, the LA 3.9. or 5.2 was replaced at the beginning of the model year (the LA 5.9 (360) may have held on for another year).
