Looking for one that will work with "factory installed" AC since I'm retrofitting ac to my truck, and have sourced factory ac hoses and such, and a heater plenum box under dash from a truck that was factory ac.
New or good used, but "made in China" definitely not welcome

Wonder if one from like a Cordoba or magnum would work, they have the same type Siamese hose ends as this truck would have as I remember. Even if I had to extend the mount brackets or something...

I think I'm covered there but until it's done and back together, extra /spare parts aren't bad to have around.
I actually have 2 of that era trucks that i'm putting together.
I need 2 complete sets between them, and I think I do but gotta check.
I might take you up on that.
I do know that once this one is done I will need a condenser for the other one. But that one's probably further down the road unless I can get a 2 for 1 deal on paint work haha
I have a newer truck and it's just "eh".... I know Ive had my 12 long enough that I definitely can tell I like leaf springs over coils (even bagged coils) for towing....

I know that for the 85 I have enough of everything else but that condenser to finish the job, except for maybe a drier canister.
For the 83 that's getting the 90 cab swap, that cab is totally bare.

Haven't opened yet but I'm disappointed now that I see the label.
