I'm working on an 505cid Indy Max Gen II Hemi engine with a unknown camshaft that I'm trying to find some information on.
I've been told by the previous owner that it supposed to be a camshaft produced by Cam Motion, in the front of the camshaft it's engraved: R2604 and 2705-12. In the back the camshaft is stamped with: 253117 and the cam core is marked 311804 by the distributor gear.

I hope anyone could help out with some info.

Thanks.

I would mock it up in a short block with at least #1 piston attached and then use it to find TDC and later install the head you want on that side and check piston to valve clearances wrench scope up
BTW, if you decide to check the rocker ratio with stock OEM rocker arms don't be surprise to find them varying a bunch at the retainers, valve lift and duration wrench scope
