So I was going to order some correct stripes for my Challenger at Carlisle, but they asked if I wanted the stripes gloss black or flat black.
Wasn't sure but after looking at website I see they only show gloss black available.
But not sure I would call them gloss black like on the 71 R/T Challengers.

I don't think any of the Challengers I had in the past had stripes that were really glossy, and I like it that way.
So what is correct?

Also, regarding placement, should the top part of the stripe be placed right along that 'crease' on the body line or slightly below, as they are currently?
Pic below for reference.

Thanks for the replies

All 1970 V6_ E-body stripes were matte, no gloss.

I recall the tape side stripes as being rather somewhat glossy, not matte...but that's an old memory...

PCG has other black vinyl shades under custom. They will also send you a sample if you request one.

They install just slightly below the body line as on this unrestored car - I think it's all original with the exception of the driver's fender.

I went with stripes from Phoenix for my car and I'm happy with them.

The 7th photo of the unrestored car (right rear angle) illustrates the gloss level I recall.
