Any product recommendations for removing grease from a stock cast iron ntake manifold?

The manifold has been removed from the engine assembly, but no access to a parts washer/hot tank.

Not sure if brake parts clean would be a good product.

The plan is to repaint the intake.

Mineral spirits and a brush followed by Dawn dishwasher soap and hot water.

Regular Easy Off oven cleaner. Just be careful of any over spray. Very caustic and tough on skin/paint etc.

Yes yes and yes! I cannot imagine scrubingb with a brush and getting it flung into my eye. Its bad enough on the skin or your arm or hand. Use caution.

Works great on undercoating too. Scrapes off real easy.

Wire brush it off as best you can and use dish soap and hot water to get the rest off. Could also use any solvent as well

Car wash to clean parts in this area is no longer allowed where I'm at. Nearest car wash has security cameras in each bay + signs that say no washing of engines or engine parts allowed. The water temp and water pressure they have those set on is not like a Hotsy sprayer so I doubt they would work for heavy grease removal.
