So my garage addition is basically complete and I'm starting to decorate the space. I've seen these round domed signs online and at shows. Most places have them listed for around $30 a piece which I personally wouldn't pay but I found a guy at the Mopar Nats selling them for only $10 each. They are kind of cool looking so I picked up four of them over the last couple years. I'm not sure what you're supposed to do with them or if they are made with a particular purpose in mind. The ads just show them hung flat on the wall. Since wall space is going to be at a premium, I wanted to figure out a different way to mount them. Here's what I came up with. I just glued and doweled some scrap wood together and cut out some circles with a circle cutting jig. The signs fit snug around the wood centers and there is one small screw on the top side to make sure they stay attached.(there is already a hole in the top of the signs)The wall mounts are just some 3/4 black pipe, fittings, eyelets and chain. I probably have about $40 in each sign. I think they turned out really nice, don't take up much space and look a lot more interesting then if they were just hung flat on the wall.

After seeing them mounted back to back, I think they kind of look like an old gas pump globe.(maybe a project for the future)

Burder just great looking signs!I think they were the same signs I saw on videos at chryslers at carlisle this year. We really like them we just don't have room for them.

What a great way to display those type signs. I have several myself, and I'm quickly running out of wall space, which is limited anyway because of all my shelving. The street sign is just awesome!
