It helps if you use the correct factory terminology. To some, the metering valve and the "hold off valve" (non-factory term) are the same thing.

I thought A12 were drum cars. Do you have Power Disc brakes??

I think you are talking about Distribution block. The Rear Proportioning valve was for disc brake only. The metering valve or hold off for the front disc brakes was not used until 1970 B body KH system.

Correct , 69 A12 was either manual 11" drums or 11" power drums , no discs , no metering valve in the rear line that is a disc brake item only. The only valve in the brake system is a distribution block that contains the brake failure warning light switch.

The picture posted above is for disc brake applications 1970 and up.

The rear line valve is called proportioning valve. The front disc line valve is the metering (Hold Off) valve. Service manual has great explanation along with the Chrysler training stuff on the internet.

So yes its a drum brake car so I may need just the distribution block......ANYBODY have the PART number ???

I did fine one on ebag so we will see if correct when it arrives this week....it is NOS ......AND only a few more bucks than the leakey repop ones .
