$26.97 You save $20.90 was $47.87

That's $5.39 a quart. And they offer free shipping. Other weights are available. I got the 10w30.

Amazon has it at that price all the time....delivered (if you're a Prime member) and I don't have to enter into that sh*ithole known as Walmart. I buy all that stuff online. VR1, Baldwin and Motorcraft filters.....delivered to my door in a day or 2 at prices that meet or beat anything local....and I hate Walmart with a passion.

I dont have prime or any other membership to fall back on but I did order 4 jugs since its delivered and the nearest wallmart is 110 miles. But a good deal with free shipping imo since most wont ship heavier items for free.

Seems many hate walmart stores these days. Not sure why, maybe its location. But then again ive not been an in person walmart shopper in maybe 12-15 years so maybe they have went downhill.

How can someone hate on Wal-Mart and then recommend Amazon? And being a Prime member to boot? shruggy

It's simple. Every time I enter a Walmart it's a dirty ,messy sh!thole with sparsely stocked shelves and clueless people to help. Every time I shop on Amazon I have multiple choices for anything I want.....it shows up next day as described and if I do have to return something(rarely) it's matter of showing the RMA on my phone at the UPS store and it's gone...simple.

Not to hammer the point, but there are a few points in you post that can be contested:
First, you don't have to enter a Wal-Mart. I mentioned that the oil was with free delivery. For me, it was the next day.
Second, not ALL Wal-Marts meet your description. Certainly our Super Center doesn't.
Third, Amazon is no more of a saint among retailers than Wal-Mart is. They BOTH have their strengths and weaknesses and BOTH have profoundly changed the retail landscape. Maybe for the better, and maybe for the worse. But they BOTH have changed it in their own way.

I am not advocating for Wal-Mart or against Amazon. It's just that my experience at Wal-Mart is unrecognizable compared to yours.

Feel free to carry on your ozbbq of Wal-Mart. I have nothing more to say..................on this subject.

Thanks for the heads-up, ordered a couple fivers of 10W-30.

Walmart vs Amazon - doesn't much matter to me, and not worth arguing about.
Both are purveyors of Chinesium, but that's hard to avoid pretty much anywhere, though I do try to buy American...which seems to get harder to do every year...

My apologies...never meant to turn it into Amazon/Walmart discussion. All I meant was Amazon has had the same price for a long time without a sale. Buy from wherever you want. Happy you guys have decent Walmarts....the ones around here are GARBAGE and I refuse to support them because of that.

I went to the local Walmart and they had VR1 in 20W50 and 10W30. I never knew they carried it. I will keep an eye on it when I need more. Was $26.97 in store as well.
