I like it but am a little suspect of the apparent rust & bondo on the driver's fender just behind the headlight. Also, I think they are trading on the provenance - the senator's prior ownership doesn't increase the value in my eyes. Sure they are and they should be. I guessing you know very little about her. Spend 5 minutes on the net searching and it might change your mind.

Driving down the road it's just a 1941 Plymouth. Exactly. Stumpy & Fat Mike get it! No one is questioning the senator, her record, or who she is/was as a person. We're discussing a used car. It's no different than BJ/Mecum trying to pimp a clapped out Caddy just because Elvis previously owned it. Sorry if touched a nerve - that wasn't the intent.

Just curious, you have any Trump items? coins, shirts, guns, etc..? It's the same thing just a different object. Getting back to the car, disregarding it's ownership it's in really good shape and finding a early Plymouth anywhere for that price and in good condition is going to cost you. I've been watching these cars for awhile, even went to an auction hoping to pick one up in slightly poorer condition and it's a good deal.
According to guys expert opinion/reasoning, then any car in any museum is only worth the market value regardless of it's past ownership. I guess the Henry Ford museum and all the others don't mean a damn thing then? According to people in the know like yourselves...

As for the car, the market will determine the value of this and any car - including those in museums should they come up for sale. It is obvious you have a passion for this era of car and I wish you all the best in your quest to own it.
