I've been using their 500 amp switch since 2019 but just the switch, not the kit with the buttons and brackets. I don't think they offered it in kit form at the time so I bought my own button and made a bracket. I do know I took 50+ lbs out of the car by moving to a lightweight lithium battery mounted near the firewall instead of the full size battery in the trunk and reducing the length of 1/0 battery cables using this remote switch. No problems. The weight difference in the battery cables themselves was around 10lbs.

I have acquired those contacts from one of my component sources, and we set them up a little differently, but they work great. I won't use a regular master switch to carry the load anymore unless I'm forced to.
The big advantage is they can be located anywhere in the car since they are remotely operated.
If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

You running cables real short, you could probably get by with 4 ga. Once the engine is running, that big cable is just dead weight. 2ga is all I've used for many years, big motors, high compression, doesn't matter. Just use good parts and a good starter.

I have not used there kill switch, but I used many of there products to wire my car. All very nice stuff, but as mentioned very pricey.
