Wife got me tickets to see george thorogood and John Fogarty tonight anybody seen them perform lately?Was it a good show?

Man what a show tonight!They havnt lost a step.George played great and sounded great just like when I saw him on stage in Illinois in1985.  John took us back to the 60s  And his sons were great,his one son looked and sounded like Jim Morrison at times.

Glad to hear George is still going strong. I've seen him 3 times, but not since around 2000. Always put on a good, high energy show you could take the kids to. Saw him in Merrilville last time. After the show he and the Destroyers sat on the edge of the stage and signed autographs and posed for pictures.

Saw George 3 or 4 years ago. He still sounds great.
Anybody though, who thinks his stage antics are remotely what they were years ago is very mistaken. I have seen him probably 7-8 times over the years.
Back in the 80’s and 90’s he would duck walk all the way across the stage, sometimes playing behind his back while doing so. The guy was like a young Chuck Berry.
Saw him back years ago open for the Stones, they had a runway that went way out into the crowd for Mick to strut out on.
You can tell they had told George that was off limits, but boy did he put on a show. Blew the stones away, imo.
These days the stage show is virtually gone, but as I said, he still sounds good.
He has been opening shows in recent years with a song called “ rock party” it sounds great and is a fairly recent tune. Sets the tone well.

Been about 15 years since I’ve seen Thorogood…the company I worked for at the time provided production to the arena show & I was the LD for the night. Show was great..but what really struck me was how much he seemed to genuinely enjoy engaging with fans before and after the concert itself.
Finally got to see Fogerty while I was in Vegas for a tradeshow November 2022. His daughter was home from college, so we were treated to what could best be described the “Fogerty Family Band.” The experience itself was excellent, but the audio in the Wynn Encore theatre wasn’t great.
....evil is winning....
