Trying to get these pigtails inserted in the connector for a compressor.
Terminals measure 0.170 x 0.120. The slot in the connector is 0.140 x 0.110.
It seems they are the wrong size or that black plastic in the connector needs to come out?
What am I missing, seems like nothing is easy.

Any connectors and pigtails that I have ever worked with, the pigtail comes into the connector from the back, not the front....

You need to raise the blue lock . That is the secondary retainer for the terminals and with it fully seated as shown in your photo , the terminals will never go in.

Thx!

That was the "trick", once that blue sleeve was pried up, it slide together from the bottom.
Kind of pisses me off the " directions" are so crappy.
You'd think they could at least give a link to the connector type and PN so it could be figured out.

It wouldn't have been so bad if they hadn't shipped the connector with the safety feature already LOCKED.
As stated, you can't assemble it when it's locked, and it wasn't obvious.
Took some gentle prying to get it unlocked, I'm sure there's a special tool to do it correctly.

According to the directions, "insert the wire..........................."
