Hands-on young people who are interested in old cars are out there - met one yesterday who's working on his '64 Corvair convertible.
There are a lot of young people at Firebird running their cars; a more significant % of the racers than one might think.
I always try to engage with them, and generally they're fun and hooked on the stuff.
It can't be as easy for them as it was/is for us older folks, for economic reasons, for which I respect their efforts.
I've given my extra parts to the younger guys when I can, to help them along and demonstrate solidarity, so to speak.
Nothing special to that in my mind, it's just a responsibility of elders helping to keep the virus alive
