I'm interested if anyone knows if Steve Bagwell or his family owns Butch's 2nd A990 car, which I believe is the one pictured below. According to Dave Schmitz, Butch's 2nd car is one that was purchased by Dave's former race partner Gary Sutton. Gary and my family go way back. He was Uncle Gary to me as a kid and was a pallbearer at my father's funeral in 1991. Five year old me remembers Gary's black Cuda in his garage. I thought all the sponsorship stickers on it were awesome, but ran for cover when they'd start the engine.

Gary and Dave won the 1991 WinterNationals at Pomona in the Cuda, probably Gary's biggest career win. I know where the Cuda is, but not the A990 car.

Anyway, I'm just wanting to find out the whereabouts of the 65 A990 car that Gary bought from Periott Chrysler in California. I'd appreciate any information if you have it. Thank you.

Dan Glenn

That could be the Honkin' Hemi car Tony DePillo has.

Nope, Tony's car is a 64.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.
