Thieves and scammers suck. Hopefully there is a special place in hell set aside for them...... And Insurance is great right up to the point you have to use it.....
I have thought about what I would do if I traveled to any races and had to stay in a motel over night. I would disable the truck and trailer. Pop hood and pull ECM fuse, fuel pump relay or something. Put a wheel lock trailer and unhook it so they can't take the whole thing at once. At least make them work for it. If it has an electric jack drop the tongue down and unhook the battery etc. Stuff like that. Install GPS trackers on both.

When I travel especially overnight to a multiple day event I always think its best to leave the trailer at the track if possible.. even thats not perfect but in most cases there are other racers around and security. I have heard of racers getting stolen operations back I hope thats the case here ! I also agree on there's special place in hell for scammers and thieves ..like the guy on here that scammed me out of $700 for a stroker crank !!
