Hi,

I’m interested in finding out if my fathers first car still exists. 1973 Challenger Rallye, 340 4 speed, ps, pb, and A/C along with a factory luggage rack. My father purchased it from the original owner in Austin, TX back in 1975. The car was triple white, and my father had installed slot mags, chrome mud flaps, and clear seat covers over the original white buckets. He had set up the car to run on propane as that was the family business at the time (two tanks in the trunk). He sold the car around 1980 and tracked it down a few years later after reading an ad in Hemmings looking for a luggage rack for a 1973 challenger. He called on the ad and the car had a 440 in it by then, and was being raced on a regular basis but still had a few of the old propane connections. It was in Wisconsin at the time. I appreciate any info that might ring a bell to anybody 😎

Thank you

If you're on Facebook, there's a page there for lost musclecars. Might be worth a shot.

Thanks! I’ll give that a shot as well. Just would like to hunt down a few of my fathers old cars for the sake of sentimentality.

Any idea what part of Wisconsin?
I’m in SE Wisconsin. That car does not sound familiar to me.
There is a drag strip in Union Grove (near Racine), where the car could have been raced.

Unfortunately no I don’t know which part of Wisconsin. When the car was sold in Texas it had a setup to run on either propane or gasoline, slot mag wheels, and clear vinyl seat cover protectors on it. I appreciate any help!
