That poor thing is beat worse than a stubborn mule. At least it is cheap.

Hack jobs like that weren't too uncommon back in the '70's (at least where I lived in CT). I remember one old guy in town had a '62 Fury 4dr that he 'installed' a bed off a model T truck. No, it didn't look good, even to my then 10 yr old self. Seeing 4dr C-bodies hacked into pickups was more common.

What trans would have been in a 1980 Dodge van? EDIT is that a transfer case shifter?
Did earlier vans have an A body style tail shaft?
I'm in Nm so it's not too far...

I see over $800 in value, the Go Kart, 4 spd parts, pedals, front clip, 8-3/4, disc brakes? That's an auto or three on the tree column

I see an awful lot of rust. The cut up roof had done wonders to the body structure, I'd drive slow over RR crossings for sure.

I see over $800 in value,

Including your time to take it apart? And if to resell/part out, the time it will take to advertise it and sell it?

Earning every penny of that moderator paycheck.

The cost of the parts to convert to a manual transmission are well over $800...

iagree The front fenders alone are worth close to the asking price. I sold a pair of 67 Plymouth fenders that were no nicer than those for $600 a while back!
