Not to me. Still more money to be spent.

Never, ever argue with an IDIOT. They will drag you to their level and then beat you with their years of experience

The math doesn't seem to work for me either, unless the non-#s Hemi covers the costs of finishing the car, and the buyer wants a Hemi RR in that spec.
$110K is pretty strong money for a Hemi/auto RR in general terms; though if that mileage is true, and the car can be returned to near-perfect, that price would be pretty good, I think.
I see a cheap trunk floor, and wonder if other drag-racing mods are still there or not quite perfectly repaired.

Seems like hemis are priced in the low to mid 20s and often I see them still around for a few months. So is there 90k worth of car there otherwise? The numbers hemi looks fresh, but no mention of who did it or any paperwork. I’ll have to look at what’s listed right now, but I think you could get a decent car already done for what he’s wanting and this one has a long way to go to be done. Then you still don’t have a numbers trans, so that cuts the market some as the big boys like all the right stuff to be in place.

I want my fair share

A few months back there was a complete running engine up in the Phoenix area. listed at mid / upper 20s I think and it was gone in about a week

I dont know a lot of detail on the numbers engine.
But supposedly add carbs and ignition it does run.

Trans, I dont know cond. The one that goes with it is an original hemi version, Just out of a 69 Hemi GTX , so its close,,, IMO, the numbers trans would add minumul if any value over this one

He is picking the engine and trans up from me Friday nite at Spring Fling this weekend. I brought it back with me on my trip back east

Occurs to me the most workable deal is for him to keep the NOM one so a buyer can reasonably afford the car and he just moves on to whatever else with a hemi in hand or sells it outright. Who verified this is a 1 of 1? I suppose with those options it likely is, just curious.

I find the facebook post kind of confusing, but irregardless, I think this same car was listed for sale on FB maybe a year or so ago for 65K

Thats how/when the current owner bought it. The number engine was found about a month ago

I talked to him the other day. Said he was gonna pull the add
He is thinking pull the motor and trans in the car. Replace it with the numbers engine and aforementioned Hemi trans. I have the engine / trans in my trailer right now . he is picking them up on Friday

Then list it ,
sell the spare engine - trans seperately
