If I understand your question - it reads like it had auto-correct "help" - engine & rad are both right (passenger) side - that's why it's a simple L. There may be another hose that would work, but the one I mentioned is what they keep in stock. No idea what the application is, but it worked great. Aluminum water pump LAs has pass side lower inlet, cast iron water pump LA's had driver's side. Not the same hose shape, hence the question and both are available molded in the aftermarke from both gates and continental 70-76 A body hose67-69 A body64-66 A body

when i need a hose that i have no idea what application will work for what i want, i have some of that "chrome" replacement flexy stuff that is made to replace the heat "stove" connection from the air cleaner snout to the exhaust manifold tin work. i form it to the shape i need, then off to the parts store to see what hose comes close to being able to go where it needs to. the nice thing about using that over a piece of wire, being a somewhat full size model, it will show if there may be any interference issues anywhere along the way. wire may not show this, being skinny as opposed to "full size".
