Just trying to get an idea of where to mount the electric air pump. Should I keep it in my trunk over the rear axle or should I mount it on the underside of the body? I have ⅛" copper capillary line for the pressure gauge. Anyone made a modern looking control panel? I have to admit, the gauge looks very 70s. 😂

i agree with those suggestions.
however, i wonder how noisy that pump is, and if too loud, i would suggest the trunk just because the noise would be farther away from hearing it inside.
if too noisy, you could build a well insulated box to cover it to cut down the noise.
but then how much heat does it give off, and i would imagine it might just need some air space to keep it cool enough so it wouldn't burn up.
just throwing some things out there, as i'm not familiar with that pump.
had an imperial one time that had factory air shocks, and if i remember correctly, the pump for that was mounted under the right rear trunk floor. it didn't work correctly, so i removed it and installed separate air lines for the shocks so i could fill to whatever pressure i wanted.

I have air shocks on there now but with nylon tubes coming into the rear tail light cover on my 69 Charger. Nipple sticks out but sometimes I need to lift the rear end and go over my driveway hump and i despise the rake on classic cars.

I will see where i can mount it in my trunk area. Maybe make a pedestal and enclosure with foam access so it can breath to keep every neat.

Thanks for the suggestions 🤙🏽
